'Tis the season of giving. Being generous is an admirable thing to do. But if everybody is doing the giving, who is doing the receiving? In order for the exchange to happen, someone has to be willing to be on the receiving end of generosity. We get so used to waving off help with a "No, no, I'm fine." or "That's O.K., I'll take care of it." even when we feel exhausted and overwhelmed. Accept someone's help and allow them the pleasure of giving. In order for the giver to give, a receiver has to receive.
