If it Doesn't Challenge You...
...It Doesn't Change You
The idea of change can be scary, let alone going through the change itself. We don't like being shoved or even invited outside our comfort zone. The chance that we'll feel scared, uncomfortable, pained, etc. can keep us firmly rooted in our current habits. But recently, a client had the perfect response for moving into an uncomfortable, new behavior: "So what." We've all been scared, uncomfortable and pained in the past, and we survived. Whoever said that life was about being comfortable all the time anyway? Maybe life is about experiencing new and challenging things to keep us growing and evolving.
