If "Plan A" Didn't Work

The Alphabet has 25 More Letters!
Last week I was out of town for a funeral. And even though I had my computer and fully intended to get my Question out on Thursday, the Universe had other ideas. Although my mom's house has internet access, and I had been using it the day before, when I sat down to work on my Question, I couldn't log in. There are many times when something doesn't go as planned. Sometimes it's for obvious reasons (an accident on the expressway causes a traffic jam and we run late) and sometimes it's for seemingly inexplicable reasons (the internet works one day and not the next). In those moments, we can choose to get angry and/or frustrated or we can choose to accept that it's just not going to happen and to be O.K. with that. I'm happy to say that I was only 3% "What the heck is going on with the internet!" and 97% "Well, it looks like I'm not going to be able to send out my Question this week." It can be hard to remember that we actually have that choice to focus on something other than our anger/frustration about a situation. The next time you encounter and unexpected change in your plans, ask yourself:
Here is the question:
What is the advantage in this new situation?
