Live Less Out of Habit...

When Your Closet is Full of Clothing

and More Out of Intent.

One of the most common things my clients compile over time is clothing. It never fails that when we start going through their closets, there are clothes that still have the tags on them. We all have more than we need and yet we find it overwhelming to go through it all and decide what to keep. I recently was introduced to the idea of a 'capsule wardrobe'.  It's a wardrobe made up of a small number of basic pieces that can be easily mixed and matched. Some people can whittle their clothing down to just 37 pieces! That feels a bit extreme to me but there are no hard and fast rules about it.  It's simply a more intentional approach to what we wear.

Here's an article that describes one woman's journey into a capsule wardrobe.  If clothing is something you're currently struggling with, you might want to try this approach.

Here is the question:

How accurately does your closet represent what you actually wear and the lifestyle you want to be living?
