When You Stop Learning...

If you Stop Learning You Start Dying.

You Start Dying.

-Albert Einstien

We all know that running a marathon without training is a recipe for disaster. It takes time to get our muscles into shape to be able to run 26.2 miles. Even though we know that any big task needs to be prepared for, we seem to think that we should magically know how to declutter our homes. The process seems easy enough and yet the scope of it can be daunting. Just like with running a marathon, we have to train and develop our decision-making muscle. Marie Kondo puts the items to be dealt with in a particular order. She has you start with the easier items first so that you can strengthen your decision-making muscle. That way, by the time you get to your sentimental items, you have the stamina to get through them. If you're trying to tackle a decluttering project, be kind to yourself. Just like with any skill, there is a learning curve. If you can accept that going in, maybe you'll be more willing to learn something new.

Here is the question:

What resources do you already have for learning how to declutter and get organized?
