Whew!
Well, I successfully (mostly) made it through January making a blog post every day. I missed one day due to some poor planning but I’m happy to say that it wasn’t any more than that! I have to say that I really like setting a goal that I commit to for one month. It’s long enough of a stretch to create a new habit and short enough that I can see the end in sight if the chosen behavior doesn’t work for me.
My goal for February is to complete the book: The Success Principles by Jack Canfield. Not just to complete the book but to also do all the exercises he suggests. I don’t know about you but I have gotten half way through a ton of books and I often skip over the exercises because I don’t have time or because they seem difficult. So this is no small commitment.
I’ll also be sharing my favorite line or two from that day’s reading. There’s a lot of great quotes and concepts in the book. It is set up like a step by step process and he says that if I follow the steps in the book, I can’t help but be successful. Sounds good to me!
