Words of wisdome
They can show up at any time or any where. Say, for instance, JC Pennys. I know that may seem an odd place to find wisdom but that’s exactly what happened today. I went there looking for a piece of jewelry. As I was looking around, one brand had their product mounted to cardboard and on the cardboard is where the wisdom showed up.
The first tid bit I saw said “Dreams come true one choice at a time.” That probably seems obvious but it was a great reminder that dreams, as big and as far away as they can seem, are realized one choice at a time. Every day can bring us closer to our dream, depending on our actions.
The second statement that caught my eye was “Some people pursue happiness, others create it.” Again, simple but powerful. So often we think of happiness or joy or passion as things that exist outside of us, things that need to be pursued and obtained. But really they are always available, right where we are, if only we choose to create them.
I’d say the trip was well worth it today! Not only did I get a new bracelet, but a few great hits of wisdom to boot. If we’re open to it, insight can come from just about anywhere.
